Cobwebs...
Sway lazily in the sultry summer breeze
Cobwebs...
Shatter like crystal, so a dewdrop doesn’t freeze
Cobwebs...
Reflect the rainbows, with the gentle breath of spring
Cobwebs...
Dread the autumn, its where “Charlottes Web” begins
Cobwebs...
Like catching the oddest things,
Fat raindrops, ocean zephyrs and dragons wings
Cobwebs...
Are truly the banes of my existence
The harder my battle, the stronger their resistance
Cobwebs...
So delicate and fragile, they make my blood run cold
Pretty and unassuming, invisible to behold
Cobwebs...
Grow where mushrooms won’t, they thrive in small places where other things don’t
What on Earth was Mother Nature thinking the day she created
Cobwebs
